The other day I saw a new Mustang with a clergy sticker on the back. I had to ask myself the question: Is this wrong? What makes something too much? When is it providing for your family and when is it hoarding? I don't have the answers for these questions...just engaging the questions.
I'm reminded of Jesus' parable of the man who had a bumper crop so he built bigger barns. This kept happening until God said that his "time" had come. He had nothing to show for his life except big barns.
Do I need to ask the obvious question about our barns?
