Firefox Church

I ran across a great blog the other day. It was called "Why Downloading Firefox is Like Getting Into College" by Seth Godin. You should read it...go ahead, I'll wait.(http://sethgodin.typepad.com/seths_blog/2008/04/why-downloading.html)

Okay, so here's my thoughts on this. I want Terra Nova to be the Firefox of churches. If you are willing to come to TN - ugly building (see above!), can't turn left off Rt. 23, pot hole in the driveway, really crowded at 11am, etc - then you must be the type of person who is serious about your spiritual journey. Just like a person who downloads Firefox is confident enough to use a browser different from the default one out of the box, so also you are the type person who is willing to do more than "default church."

Terra Nova is anything but default church. We actually expect people to be serious about their own spiritual journey. We actually expect people to participate in our community of faith and the community in which we live. We actually think that our little church can make Delaware a better place by sharing God's love and hope in practical ways.

Want to join us? Want to make a difference? Want to get beyond "default church"? Join us this Sunday at 9:30 or 11am (4277 Columbus Pike, Delaware, OH 43015).
