Mark 6:30-56
Jesus feeds the 5000...That is how my Bible labels this section. It seems appropriate that this is the passage we are reading on a Sunday. When we gather as a community of faith, I hear Jesus' words, "You give them something to eat." (Mark 6:37).
I wonder how many of us really hear these words from Jesus when we are out with our friends and family. You give them something to eat. Beyond food, how else can we nourish those around us?
This week, look for ways to "give them something to eat."
