I just watched the McCain/Obama faith forum with Rick Warren. I really don't think that a Biblical worldview works for "ruling" the free world. When I read Scripture, I don't see people with a Biblical worldview ruling anything! As a matter of fact, a Biblical worldview really runs at odds with ruling anyone.
"The last will be first."
"If you want to rule you must serve."
"The greatest will be the one that serves."
When you think of politics in America today and you begin to form your opinions about the next President, I challenge you first to consider your worldview and how it compares with Scripture. Have you truly thought about what it means to see the world through the eyes of Jesus? Forget Democracy and American politics, what does Jesus say to the issues?
Watch Terra Nova in October...we will be wrestle with these questions...
